BLACK AND WHITE IMPROVISATION ON THE ICONIC BEACH OF RIO DE JANEIRO WITH TOPMODEL THAIS MONTEIRO

I was waiting since 3 days the sun, we were during beginning of winter in Brazil and since i was arrived in Rio de Janeiro it was rainy. At the end of the week, i received a call of Ford Model Rio : « Loïc, model you have selected can’t come, she is block in São Paulo … but I have another model she just arrived from New York to celebrate her wedding this week end and may be you can do something tomorrow morning ». I had a B plan to shoot inside but when Thais Monteiro arrived sun was there. I decided to do it as simple as possible : few films in the pocket, the camera and the light meter. No screen, no assistant, just confident of our capacity to improvise and confident of the capacity of films selected and reflection of the sand to create an amazing light. All the beach was for us and Thais was an amazing model. Rio, i was waiting for you and now I love you !
